The AQA GCSE Anthology - Sunlight on the GrassSunlight on the Grass (Modern Prose Anthology)

The stories in this section have been chosen to appeal to students as well as providing lots for them to discuss in terms of ideas as well as the language, structure and form of the texts. As students do not have to make comparisons between the stories, there are no specific linkages. However, students may well find points of similarity and difference that can form interesting debate. The stories are based on different relationships, using a range of narrative voices to explore how characters interact and often using symbols to represent the relationships in powerful ways.
